Origin

The Maltese dog breeds is believe that about 6000 BC, it's the oldest of the European Toy breeds. They is originated from Malta. These breeds been trust is come from Bichon breeds. The fourth century BC, it has become the Roman and Greek lady toy dog. They were take to Europe by the nomadic tribes, and it's was introduces to America in 1877.

The breed was registered with the AKC in 1888.

Coat

The coat is long, and thick coat, smooth and shiny, showing filamentous and not curly,  soft and natural drop hair,  the head small and round,  head full of beautiful decorative hair, ending with a thick hair, tip tail hanging in the side of the hind legs.  It's hair hang to the ground and is pure white

Character

The Maltese is a most popular dog breeds. They is very playful, intelligent, cheerful, lively, and enjoy being love. They are a kind of happy dog breeds, they will so happiest when can able spending time with their master, it's a deeply devoted companion to their master.

 It is a classical companion dog. They are a loving cute small dogs.

Training

Maltese is maybe difficult to housebreak, training them will be challenge. Training should begin early, training for housetraining is a must to avoid their bad behaviors, including chewing.

Grooming

Grooming the maltese must be brushed daily with a pin brush, in order to keep it looking good. They need to be bathed or dry shampooed on a regular basis. Always keep check their eyes is clean, and trim the hair when is necessarry. The hair on the top head should be tied up to keep away from the eyes.

They is a low shedder.

The Maltese is a companion dog and is a good family dog. They is playful and full of energy and spirit, and loves to play a lot. They is a intelligence dog, so it's learns tricks fast and easily.
