Origin

The Boston Terrier was the first American breed recognized by the AKC, in the yearly 1900s. The original breeds were a cross between the English Bulldog and now extinct English White Terrier.

They have been developed in US in the late 1800s.One of the breed's first nicknames was "roundheads". Shortly after, the breed was named the Boston Terrier after its birthplace.

Coat

The Boston Terrier has a short and smooth hair that is fine in texture, glossy and smooth. The coat color comes with brindle, seal, or black with white markings.

He has a round head with a shortened muzzle, round, large, dark eyes, and ears is cropped or left natural. The body is short and the legs is strong.

Character

They character is gentle, alert, sturdy and small. This dog breeds is enthusiastic about life and has a kind and gentle nature. They is full of fun, loving and loyal to their owner.

And he is very affectionate.

Training

Training the Boston could be easy, because of their alert and very intelligent character,  they is trainable although is a bit touch stubborn. They may be difficult to housebreak and the crate training method is recommended. Training should begin early,  leash training is important.

Grooming

Grooming this breed is easy, It requires brushing with soft bristle brush or curry bomb twice weekly.  The short coat only requires an occasional brushing.
